Bespoke websites at a reasonable price

Websites are key for any business these days but why do they have to be expensive or hard to use? The truth is that they don’t! Don’t pay over the odds for a bespoke website or wrestle with a big-name self-build provider to cut costs.

I offer websites built bespoke to your needs, especially for small businesses, charities and similar groups. My different options cover basic to growing business needs and there’s even an option for e-commerce. However, as your site will be built by a human being (me) there’s room to be flexible to accommodate extra needs or build something even smaller – just contact me to discuss what you need.

Some examples of my work

Capel Fete

A fun, informative site with lots of photo galleries.

The team behind Capel Fete wanted to refresh their website and needed it to be attractive, informative and visually appealing. It was key that it depicted the fun that is had each year at the Fete and held all the key information about the weekend. They also wanted to have lots of galleries of photos from years gone by.

Renkum Stud Auctions

A fully functioning auction site to sell horses during a pandemic.

During the Covid-19 pandemic with the country in lockdown and horses to be sold, Renkum Stud Farm in Gloucestershire asked us to build a fully functioning auction site to enable them to sell their horses as normal livestock auctions weren't operating. The site was built from scratch, taking secure online payments and showcasing horses with a combination of text, photography and videos supplied by the client.

Capel Cricket Club

A sports website managing fixtures and results and much more!

Capel Cricket Team in Kent needed a new website but it had to be functional for the team, enabling players, prospective players and other interested parties to find information about their fixture tables for the season and the results. The team also wanted a series of galleries to hold the many photographs taken at each match and event. A blog was also key so that write-ups of matches could also be featured.

CMatthews Photography

A clean, pure site to showcase Craig's beautiful photography.

Photographer Craig Matthews wanted a 'clean, pure' website to showcase his jaw dropping photography. He wanted a site where his images were king and all the different style of photography that he offers were clear to see. Having lots of photos and galleries on the site were a must-have, but, as is key, it had to be mobile responsive too.

Sericum Designs

A stunning online store to showcase and sell my silk art and gifts.

In addition to building websites, writing content and design work, I'm also a silk artist and wanted to build my own website to use to sell my work, because I wanted more control over the way my work was displayed on sites like Etsy. I did all the photography, content writing, design and build to create a site that I love and that, most importantly, my customers find easy to use. I love it!

Emma's Kitchen

A landing page to attract prospective clients to her services.

A busy caterer, specialising in school meals, needed a landing page fast to showcase her services and enable prospective clients to register their interest. Completed within a weekend this project ticked all the boxes for Emma and quickly gave her the online presence she needed.

About me

After training as a journalist, I have 14 years experience in PR & Marketing in a not-for-profit organisation. This included writing copy for web and print; designing and managing websites and intranets, design work, digitising processes and organising events. Now in addition to being a mummy, I design, manage and host websites, do ad-hoc design, content creation and social media management for clients and sell my silk art.

I’d love to hear more about you and your business and how I can help you. My focus is all about helping small businesses grow rather than profit from you, so get in touch and have a chat.
